どちらかと言えば地味な曲なのに、なぜだかワクワクしてしまいます。秀逸な歌詞とキャッチーなメロディーのせいでしょうか。シンガーソングライター、ゆいにしおさんによるこの曲は、ここしばらくプレイリストにいれたままになっています。
It is rather a song subdued, but unexpectedly exciting somehow. Maybe it's due to the excellent lyrics and the catchy melodies, I guess. This song was written and sung by a singer-song writer called Yui Nishio. I’ve kept in my playlist for quite a while.

昨年、「息を吸う、ここで吸う、生きてく」で衝撃を受けて以来、ずっと気になっているアーチストです。そのときには渋谷系のDNA を正しく受け継いでいると書きました。しかし、今回のこのような曲を聴くと、そんなジャンル分けになど収まらない、シンガーソングライターとしての素性のよさを感じてしまいます。
I’ve been interested in this artist since I was impressed by her song called ‘Iki wo suu, kokode suu, Ikiteku’ last year. I wrote that she definitely has the DNA of Shibuya-kei at that time. However, now that I listened to her songs like this, I have a feeling that I cannot categorize her songs as a specific genre because she may have infinite possibilities as a singer-song writer.
この曲は、2020年にリリースされたものです。直近のシングルは昨年末の「suitcase」になります。ライブの予定は３月に横浜、４月には三宮と梅田が予定されている模様。いつか九州でも、彼女のライブが開催される日が待ち遠しくてなりません。
