　トリビュート・アルバムと呼びたいところですが、オフィシャル・カバーアルバムとの触れ込みで9月の終わりにリリースされました。参加アーティストがすごいです。収録曲は以下の通りです。

　I’d like to call it a tribute album but it was actually released as an official cover album at the end of September. It features a lot of big name stars. All the tracks it has are as follows.

　選曲がいいです。懐かしい曲たちが新しい姿でよみがえっているのにワクワクします。今年、オリジナルラブはデビューから30周年だったとのこと。それを記念してのオフィシャル・カバーアルバムだった模様。

　The songs here were well-chosen. Old good songs came back in new ways so I’m excited. I heard this year was the 30^th anniversary of Original Love’s debut. This is an official cover album to commemorate it.

　個人的に一番響いたのは、椎名林檎さんによるLET’S GO!です。原曲のもつエッセンスを取り出しながら、さらに研ぎ澄ましているのがすごいです。椎名林檎さん自身のトリビュート・アルバム「アダムとイヴの林檎」では、田島貴男さんが「都合のいい身体」を歌っていて印象的でしたが、こんな形で返ってくるというのが嬉しいです。彼女につながる人として、長岡亮介さん、そして東京事変まで参加しているのに驚きます。結果的に、田島貴男さんの作曲センスの素晴らしさを改めて思い知るアルバムです。

　The best track for me was ‘Let’s Go!’ covered by Ringo Sheena. I was impressed by the way she extracted the essence of the original song and sophisticated it even better. I remember that Takao Tajima once covered her song called ‘Tsugo no Ii Karada’in her own tribute album called ‘Adam to Eve no Ringo’ and it was quite impressive so I’m glad to see her respond to it this way. I was a bit surprised that some of her music fellows like Ryosuke Nagaoka, TOKYO JIHEN also joined in this album. In the end I realized how good Takao Tajima is as a songwriter again.
