A normal portion means a larger portion there. But the most notable thing is the taste. The restaurant called Satin Doll is located in a town called Mihara up on a hill in Nagasaki, and their Turkey rice surely satisfies foodies.
これで1000円という値段にも唸ります。食べきれないという方は、900円で小を注文できるので安心です。これじゃ満足できないという猛者は、1200 円で大盛りを頼むといいでしょう。
The dish only costs 1000 yen. If you are a small eater, you can order a smaller portion for 900 yen. If you won't be satisfied with the normal, you can have a larger portion for 1200 yen.
自分がいただいたのは、「ドライカレーでトンカツトルコライス」の普通盛りでした。まずは、カレーソースのかかったトンカツを一切れ頬張ります。美味いです。サクサクとした衣も、トンカツの厚みも絶妙な上に、カレーソースが絶品です。
I had a normal portion of 'tonkatsu (pork cutlet)Turkey rice with curry flavored fried rice' at that time. First, I had a piece of tonkatsu with the curry sauce. I was like, It's so good. The batter was so crispy and the the pork is favorably thin, besides the curry sauce tastes so good.
続くドライカレーの一口で、本物のトルコライスと確信します。油っこくない、くどくない、でも、しっかり味付けしてあるドライカレーです。付け合わせのサラダを間にはさみながら、ひたすらモリモリ食べ続けます。
The following curry flavored fried rice convinced me this was an authentic Turkey rice. It was not greasy, not so heavy, but seasoned properly well. I continued eating it along with the salad.
トルコライスのもう一つの主役スパゲティーは、いつもあとに取っておく派です。由緒正しいケチャップ味のそれは、さっぱりとしていて、すでにいっぱいのはずのお腹にするすると入っていきます。最後にお味噌汁で、最高のランチが締まりました。
Somehow I always keep the spaghetti, which is another main character of Turkey rice, for later. Their spaghetti was typically seasoned only with ketchup and so light that I ate it easily despite my already stuffed stomach. I finished the lunch at its best with the miso soup.
また食べたいと思うトルコライスに出会えて嬉しくてたまりません。下手すると油っこくなる料理で、さっぱりと仕上げるのは、実は難しい一品です。何度でも行きたいと思わせるお店は、長崎市内でも限られています。
I'm so happy finding a Turkey rice that makes me feel like eating it again. It tends to be quite greasy and it is so difficult to cook it refreshingly light. There are only a few restaurant which can serve the dish that makes me feel like eating it repeatedly even in Nagasaki city.
開店の11時には行かないと、駐車場はすぐにいっぱいになります。夕方の開店は5時半です。日曜日はお休みとのこと。
食いしん坊の方はぜひ。
The parking lot becomes full soon after the opening time, 11 a.m. In the evening, the restaurant opens again at five thirty. It is regularly closed on Sundays.
I highly recommend this restaurant to all the foodies.
