6thアルバム「playlist」からもう2年が経とうとしています。5thアルバムの「MUSiC」をきっかけにファンになった自分にとって、この2年間は、以前の楽曲を遡りながら一層エビ中への想いを深めた期間でもありました。そして、メンバーの活動休止と復帰、また新メンバーの加入などを経たエビ中が、いよいよ7thアルバムを出すことを知り、大喜びしています。
Two years have passed since their 6th album called ‘playlist’ was released. I became a fan of Ebichu after I had listened to their 5th album ‘MUSiC’, and my affection for their songs deepened even more listening to their earlier songs during these two years. Now I feel so glad because I learnt that Ebichu, which has experienced a lot of things such as some members’ sick leaves and returns and having new members, will finally release their 7th album.

ミドルテンポでキャッチーなこの曲の作詞・作曲は大橋ちっぽけさんです。新アルバムのリリース予定は3月と発表されていますが、その収録曲として初めての配信曲がこれになります。エビ中の魅力の一つに、今のシーンで活躍するアーティストによる楽曲提供があるのは間違いありません。この曲を聴く限り、今度の新譜の素晴らしさを予感してしまいます。9人体制としての完成度がどのようなものになるかワクワクしています。
This song, which goes at a middle tempo and is catchy, was written by Ohashi Chippoke. This is the first digital single from their new album, which is supposed to be released in March next year. I’m sure that one of the attractiveness of Ebichu is their songs which are offered by some up-and-coming artists from the current music scene. As far as I can tell from this song, their new album seems quite promising. I'm really looking forward to seeing how good that album will be with the nine members.
10月の末には、安本彩花さんの写真集が発売されました。迷わず購入しました。写真集を買うのは生まれて初めてでした。ページを開いて、安本彩花さんの可愛さ、美しさに惹き込まれるとともに、インタビュー記事を読んで、闘病生活から復帰までの困難さを思い知らされました。彼女が戻ってきた喜びを改めて噛み締めています。
The photo book of Ayaka Yasumoto, a member of Ebichu, was released at the end of October. I bought it without hesitation. I bought a photo book for the first time in my life. Once I opened it, I was fascinated by her cuteness and beauty, and also realized that she underwent extraordinary hardships while she was fighting against her illness before coming back. Now I savor the happiness realizing her return after all this time.
