え、ほんとに佐藤千亜妃さん？と思います。自分が勝手に抱いていたイメージと違います。現在は活動休止しているバンド、きのこ帝国のボーカル、佐藤千亜妃さんによるこのソロ曲は、ちょっと戸惑うぐらい、どストレートなラブソングです。

この多幸感はどうでしょう。ウエディングソングとしても十分に通用します。きのこ帝国と言えば、どちらかと言えば洋楽の方にふれた、シューゲイザー的な音作りが思い浮かびます。バンドのボーカルとしての佐藤千亜妃さんの歌い方も、あまり声を張らず、感情は込めないような印象がありました。2014年のアルバム、「フェイクワールドアンダーグラウンド」をCD屋さんで初めて試聴したとき、その浮遊感が好きで購入したのを覚えています。確かに直近のアルバム「タイム・ラプス」では、よりエモーショナルな歌い方になっているのは感じていました。中でも、7曲目の「金木犀の夜」という曲は、可愛い、と言いたくなるような素敵なラブソングでした。

As for the way of singing of Sato Chiaki, the vocalist, I have a feeling that she sings quite softly, unemotionally. I remember I bought their CD album called Fake World Underground because I liked the floating sensation when I sampled it at a CD shop. I certainly felt that her way of singing has become more emotional in their latest album called Time Lapse. Above all, the seventh track called ‘Kinmokusei no Yoru’ was a fantastic love song and I even felt it was cute.

実は、この「金木犀の夜」はエビ中ファミリーにとっても特別な曲です。先日、YouTubeのTHE FIRST TAKEで、エビ中は「なないろ」を披露しました。これは、療養のため活動を休止していた安本彩花さんが復帰した、記念すべきイベントでもありました。彼女が活動を休止する前に行われたライブで、メンバーそれぞれが選んだ曲を歌うコーナーがあったのですが、そこで安本さんが歌ったのがこの曲でした。その後、安本さん推しの間で、この曲がプチバズりしていたのです。
この「カタワレ」をきっかけに、佐藤千亜妃さんのソロ曲を聴いてみましたが、とてもいい曲ばかりです。聴いたことのない方はぜひ。
Actually, this song ‘Kinmokusei no Yoru’ is something special for some fans of Ebichu. The other day, Ebichu appeared in the YouTube Channel called THE FIRST TAKE and they sang a song called ‘Nanairo’ there. That event was something memorable for them because Yasumoto Ayaka, who had stopped her activity due to her disease, finally came back to join it. Before the break, she sang this song in a concert in which there was a project that each member sang a song they had chosen. Since then, this song has become popular with some fans of her for a while.
The song ‘Kataware’ made me feel like listening to her other solo songs so I actually did and end up realizing how good they are. I highly recommend you to listen to her songs if you haven’t already.
