2016年にリリースされた石崎ひゅーいさんのシングル、「ピノとアメリ」のカップリング曲だそうです。当時は、どちらのアーティストにも興味がありませんでした。今聴いてみると、心に沁みてくるとてもいい曲です。
This song is from a 2016 single called ‘Pino to Ameri’ by Ishizaki Huwie. I wasn’t interested in either of the two artists at that time. Now that I’ve listened to it intently, I can say this is a kind of song that hit home to me.

作詞作曲は石崎ひゅーいさんで、尾崎世界観さんはゲストボーカルとして招かれています。お二人とも、素晴らしい楽曲をエビ中のために書いてくださっています。石崎ひゅーいさんは、昨年の12月にリリースされたアルバム「playlist」に収録されている「ジャンプ」を。尾崎世界観さんは5年以上前、2015年1月リリースのアルバム「金八」に「蛍の光（Demo）」を提供されています。
This song was written by Ishizaki Huwie and he invited Ozaki Sekaikan as a guest vocalist. Each of them wrote a good song for Ebichu, an idol group. Ishizaki Huwie wrote a song called ‘Jump’ which is contained in a album called ‘playlist’ released in December last year, and Ozaki Sekaikan wrote ‘Hotaru no Hikari (Demo)’ more than five years ago for an album titled ‘Kinpachi’ released in January 2015.
11月8日に放送された関ジャムは「名曲セルフカバー特集」でした。この回では、石崎ひゅーいさんが解説者として出演されていました。石崎さんが取り上げた楽曲の一つが「蛍の光」でした。尾崎世界観さんは2018年のクリープハイプのアルバムでこの曲をセルフカバーされています。エビ中ファミリーにとっては特別な曲なだけに、セルフカバーされたことはもちろん、それを石崎さんが「名曲セルフカバー」として取り上げてくださったことは本当に嬉しいことでした。
エビ中の楽曲群をあらためてみると、現在の音楽シーンを巧みに切り取ったコラージュのように思えます。
A TV program called Kanjam featured ‘Masterpieces covered by original writer’ on November 8th. In this episode, Ishizaki Huwie appeared as a commentator. ‘Hotaru no Hikari’ was one of the songs he mentioned there. Ozaki Sekaikan covered this song in a 2018 album by CreepHyp, the band led by him. I was so pleased with Ozaki covering this song, of course, plus Ishizaki mentioned this song as a ‘masterpiece’,
When I look over all the songs by Ebichu, I feel as if I’m looking at a collage of parts of the current music scene excerpted skillfully.
