何十年ぶりにプラモデルを作りました。先日、職場の同僚がハマっていると聞いて、自分もやりたくなったというのが理由です。その日の帰り道にオモチャ屋さんに行って、一つ買ってみました。
I built a plastic model for the first time in decades. I just felt like doing so when I heard one of my colleagues was into it the other day. I dropped in a toy store to buy a model car on my way home on the same day.
1/32スケールのトヨタ2000GT。接着剤のいらない、いわゆるスナップキットです。定価1650円が、1450円で売られていました。
The one I bought was TOYOTA 2000 GT, 1:32 scale. That was a so-called snap-kit, which means you can build it without cement. It was sold for 1,450 yen, the fixed price of it was 1,650 yen though.
週末に一気に作ってしまいました。プラカラーも何も使わず、ただ組み上げました。所要時間は二時間半。思っていたほど安っぽくはなく、ひとまず満足しました。
I completed it in one go on the weekend. I just assembled all the parts without using even paint. It took me about two and a half hours. It doesn’t look so cheap as I thought it would be, so I was satisfied with it for the moment.
それでも作りたい気持ちはおさまりません。今度はもう少し手のかかるものを、ちゃんと塗装もして仕上げてみたいと思ってしまいました。ネットで探して決めたのがこれです。
Even so, I cannot resist my desire to build another. This time I want to try something challenging, and I want to finish it with some colors. I searched the Internet and decided to buy this one.
