I was impressed by its great momentum. It's so catchy. it makes me feel like singing along. It makes me feel so good that I move to it without knowing it. It is the kind of song which can entertain both youngsters and oldsters. I’ve already decided it as one of 2022’s top five in my mind. This song called ‘Jersey’ by Sabasister, a band with three girls, is absolutely an uplifting song.

この歌詞の可笑しみはどうでしょう。そもそもジャージです。それだけで笑顔になります。でもところどころに素敵な詩心を感じます。「最近のあなたといったら わたしの夢に出てこなくなりました」って、なんかささります。ボーカルのちょっと投げやりな歌い方はこの曲の雰囲気にぴったりで、そしてなぜか元気をもらえます。
The lyrics are quite hilarious. The fact that they chose jersey as the title in the first place makes me smile. However, somehow I feel some poetic talent in the lyrics too. I’m hooked on the part, “As for you these days, you never show up in my dream” . The cheeky way of singing by the vocalist goes so well with the vibes of this song, and somehow it gives me a lift.
サバシスターは今年の3月に活動を開始したばかりのバンドの模様。9月14日にタワレコから出したEP「鯖の壱」は、現在サブスクでも聴くことができます。この「ジャージ」を含む4曲しか収録していませんが、どれも秀逸です。ネットのインタビュー記事を読みましたが、バンド名のサバシスターには特に意味はないとのこと。フルアルバムが楽しみなバンドです。
Sabasister debuted in March this year. They released an EP from Tower Record on September 14th and now it is available on some music apps. All the four titles including ‘Jersey’ are excellent. I read some interviews to them and learned that the band’s name Sabasister means nothing. I cannot wait to listen to their full album sometime in the future.
