70年代後半のファンクを思わせるサウンドが気持ちいいです。ルーファス＆チャカカーンやL.T.Dが好きな人にはきっとささります。エビ中の4thアルバムに収録されている「制服“報連相”ファンク」、一度聴いただけで連れていかれました。
It's so good because it reminds me of the sounds of funk music in the 70's. If you like some funk bands such as Rufus & Chaka Khan, L.T.D., and so on, you'll be into it for sure. I was carried away by the first listen to this song, `Seifuku Hosenso Funk`, which is from their 4th album called `Ebicracy`.

イントロの跳ねるようなギターにすぐに体が反応します。コーラスから何から典型的なファンクです。ワクワクします。カッコいいです。そこにもってきて、この歌詞です。楽しくってニヤけます。なんで報連相なんでしょう。「箸転がった。爆笑！」から「ロマン語るなら。大正！」にかけての可笑しさには、もう耐えきれずに吹き出すこと必至です。翻訳無意味なので、基本ローマ字で表記しました。Wikipediaによると、椎名林檎さんの「自由に道連れ」カバーのきっかけとなったのがこの曲とのこと。何だか嬉しいエピソードです。
The bouncing beat by the guitar at the first few bars makes me move. With backing vocal and other elements, it sounds like a typical funk music. It’s exciting, and so cool. Plus the lyrics are so impressive. They are so fan that I can’t help smiling. Why do they have to sing about Ho Ren So? The phrases starting with ‘Hashi, korogatta, Bakusho! (The chopsticks have rolled down. LOL)’ till the part, ‘Roman Katarunara. Taisho! (When it comes to something romantic, It’s the Taisho era)’, believe me, will make you burst into laughter. The lyrics are almost nonsense so I wrote the Japanese pronunciation with English characters basically. Wikipedia says that this song is the one that makes Sheena Ringo decided to let Ebichu cover her song called ‘Jiyuu ni Michizure’. I was somehow glad to learn this episode.
この歌は中山莉子さんメインの曲となっています。彼女のイメージにぴったりです。エビ中って、ほんとに一人一人のキャラが立っています。楽しい曲を歌わせたら無敵のグループです。
This song is mainly sung by Nakayama Riko. This song really goes well with her image. Now I realize again that each member’s character is distinctive. Ebichu is second to none in singing a merry song.
