A Place I Want You to Visit in Nagasaki: Osaki Onsen Shiosai no Yu, a hot spring where you can enjoy a lovely ocean view for only 600 yen

it is located in a town called Kawatana on the east shore of Omura bay. There are a lot of towns that look onto the ocean in Nagasaki Prefecture for geographical reason. So there are some hot springs that have great views of the ocean, and among them, the view from this Osaki onsen is something special.

Omura bay looks like a lake rather than the ocean, and, in my opinion, that's the very attractiveness of it. The view you can enjoy from Osaki onsen is exactly like that. The blue, calm inland sea just below the venue, and the

green, refreshing trees on the opposite shore will make you feel relaxed.

There must be a lot of hot springs where you can enjoy a vast view of the ocean in other prefectures. However,  I have an impression that it's not easy to find hot springs with lovely views that reminds you of a miniature garden like this. There's another reason that the view from the onsen makes you feel happy and it is not only nature but also houses and buildings, and people enjoying marine sports can be seen there.

There are good spots to visit in Kawatana town. For istance,  a park called Osaki Shizen Koen, where you can see a lot of peacocks, the ruin of a torpedo launch site established in wartime, and those two places are for free. By the way, the admittance fee of the Osaki onsen is 600 yen.

I want yot to visit this place when you come to Nagasaki.
