年に一度、楽しみにしているアマプラの番組があります。バチェラージャパンです。今年はバチェロレッテでしたが、やはり大満足の出来栄えでした。いわゆる恋愛リアリティものですが、とてつもなくゴージャスな内容で他と一線を画しています。バチェラーの場合、一人の男性を、バチェロレッテでは一人の女性を巡って多くの参加者が競い合います。バチェラーにせよ、バチェロレッテにせよ、容姿はもちろん、経済的にも恵まれた人物が選ばれています。南国の高級リゾートでのロケ、ヘリコプターを借りきってのデートなど当たり前で、とにかく凡人の想像を超えた豪華なシチュエーションの中で、愛憎劇が展開して行きます。
There is an Amazon Primes’s program, which is broadcast only once a year, and it is The Bachelor Japan. This year, it featured a Bachelorette, and it also lived up to the expectations of audiences. It is a kind of a dating and relationship reality TV show, but it stands out from the rest of the similar ones with its gorgeousness. In Bachelor version, a guy, and in Bachelorette version, a lady is aimed at as a partner by competitors who applied for the show. The bachelors or the bachelorettes are good looking and economically blessed people. Everything you will see in this show is so gorgeous like fancy resorts, a date on a helicopter, and some more luxurious things beyond our imagination. And love-hate real dramas develop in those situations.
そんなバチェラージャパンをパクりつつも、本家を超える面白さを味わえる番組があります。水ダウのモンスターラブという企画です。バチェラーに相当する人物はあのクロちゃんです。参加している女性たちはとても魅力的な方ばかりです。本家の豪華なシチュエーションはそのままにクロちゃんだけが、本来のバチェラーとはある意味、対極的な存在感でそこに君臨しています。この設定だけでワクワクが止まりせん。これまでに４つのエピソードがあり、女性は三人に絞られています。
There is another TV show, which playfully mimic The Bachelor Japan, and it is even more enjoyable than the original. It is a project called Monster Love in Wednesday’s Downtown, a TV variety show. The guy who is in the bachelor position is a comedian called Kuro chan. All the women, who are competitors, are quite attractive. Even though the luxurious situations are totally the same as The Bachelor Japan, only Kuro chan’s vibes are perfectly different from the image of original bachelors. With only those settings, I got so exhilarated. There have been four episodes so far, and candidates were narrowed down to three women.
それにしても、クロちゃんというキャラクターの強さには驚かされます。男子としていつも応援している自分ですが、引きまくっている周囲の女性の気持ちもわかります。今回も参加の女性たちへの態度や要求は、ときに過激で理不尽で、これではもともと好きだった女性も萎えてしまう！と、余計な心配までしてしまいます。

Come to think of it, the character of Kuro chan is so eccentric. As a guy, I always root for Kuro chan, but no women around me like him and I can understand how they feel. This time, Kuro chan’s behavior or requirements to women are sometimes so extreme and irrational that I unnecessarily worry that even a woman who likes him will come to hate him.
Two episodes are left now. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this project finishes. You can watch all the episodes on TVer for now. I highly recommend you watch this show if you haven’t.
