ずん喫茶、タイトルがいいです。響きだけ、純喫茶とかけているのでしょうか。TVerで見掛けて視聴して、すっかりファンになりました。子どもの頃の夢は喫茶店のマスターだっただけに、憧れをもって観てしまいます。コーヒーはもちろん、サンドイッチやナポリタンといった定番メニューが実に旨そうです。

Somehow I like its title, Zun Kissa. I guess they intentionally named that because it sounds like Jun Kissa, which means old style coffee shops that specialize in coffee and tea in Japan. I found this TV program on TVer by chance, and I soon became a fan of it just after watching ond episode. I actually wanted to have my own cafe when I was a boy, so I feel something special for this TV show. All the food and drinks which are served in old, typical cafes, not only coffee but also some dishes like sandwiches, napolitan (a Japanese style spaghetti), and so on, look really tasty.

Kazuki Iio, a member of the comedy duo called Zun, who is well known for his love of cafes, appears and enjoys tasting coffee at some cafes with the vibes of the Showa era in this TV show.
He eats their specialties and has fun chatting with the managers and customers.
He visits various cafes he likes, and you can also enjoy every moment with him from when he enters a cafe until when he leaves there.
飯尾さんのギャグが冴えまくります。なんであんな面白い一言が思いつけるのでしょう。そんな飯尾さんが訪れるのは、地元に長年愛され、古くからの常連客がいるようなお店です。お洒落というよりも、昭和感にあふれた、趣のある喫茶店ばかりです。お店のオーナーもお年を召した方が多いのですが、そこで提供される食事やデザートが愛おしいほど懐かしさを感じさせます。
Iio’s gags are so funny. I wonder how he can come up with such funny comments. All the cafes he visits are loved by local people and have some loyal customers. They are rather old fashioned, with the atmosphere of the Showa, than stylish. Many of the managers are also elderly people and the meals and desserts served there were so lovable that they make you feel nostalgia.
地方住まいのせいか、昔ながらの喫茶店や洋食屋さんといったものが、気がつくと身の回りからすっかりなくなっています。そんな時代だからこそ、この番組には価値があるのではないでしょうか。子どもの頃の夢を、またかなえたくなっている自分を持て余しています。
Lately, I find many old cafes and restaurants around my place are closed, and I wonder if the same goes for other regions in Japan. I have a feeling that this kind of TV show is quite precious in such situations. Somehow I’m obsessed with realizing my childhood dream of running my own cafe these days.
