「今どきの可愛さ」という表現があるとするなら、この人の佇まいにそれがあるような気がします。フェミニンな中に、何かしら不敵な、ときには不穏さを感じさせるほどの強さが溢れています。橋本環奈さんに感じる何かと言えば腑に落ちるでしょうか。シンガーソングライターであるTOMOOさんですが、アイドルと言ってもいいそのビジュアルにまず惹かれるのは確かです。しかし、その楽曲からは、それ以上のインパクトでアーティストとしての才能が伝わってきます。

　Somehow I came up with this expression, “the cuteness of today”, I wonder if it is right to say so though, when I saw her appearance. She looks feminine but also cheeky, and sometimes even fearless. Those characteristics are, in my opinion, almost the same as Kanna Hashimoto’s. TOMOO, a singer-songwriter, is a good-looking girl like an idol so you will be fascinated by her appearance first. However, you’ll soon realize that she is really talented as an artist once you listen to her tunes.

　この曲を初めて聴いたとき、実は男性と勘違いしていました。女性にしてはかなり低く、太い声をされています。女性と聞いても、はじめは信じられませんでした。そしてMVで知ったそのビジュアルに、さらに驚きました。そうした点でもiriさんに通じるものがあります。

　I mistakenly thought the singer is a man when I heard this song for the first time. She has a rather low, deep voice for a woman. I couldn’t believe it when I knew she is a girl. Then I was surprised by her appearance through watching the music video for this song. Let me add that those facts remind me of another artist called iri.

　それにしてもこの曲のキャッチーさときたらどうでしょう。楽しいです。思わず体が動きます。一度聴いただけで、迷わずプレイリストに入れてしまいました。他の曲を聴いても才能が溢れているのを感じています。まだ聴かれていない方はぜひ。

　Anyway, this song is so catchy. It’s such fun. I can’t help moving to the beat. I added this song to my playlist just after the first listen. I found her really talented through watching her other music videos. I strongly recommend you to listen to this song if you have not already.
