　プレイリストにずっと入れたままです。スリーピースバンド、Saucy Dogが6月にリリースしたこの配信シングルは、一度聴いただけで心に沁みる何かを持っています。

　I’ve kept this tune in my playlist for quite a while. This is a single released in June by a three-piece band called Saucy Dog, and it has something that touches your heart even with just a single listen.

　It’s Friday so I can get drunk and sing the blues away tonight

　Won’t stop till dawn

　Wanna be with somebody but can’t drive away my gloom

　The reason I turn my eyes away from the gap between the fragile dream and the hard reality is just I don’t want to be alone.

　エフェクトをかけないギターの音に、イントロから惹き込まれます。不器用さを感じるほどストレートな歌詞もよいです。都会で一人暮らしを始めたばかりの若者の切ない気持ちが、ダイレクトに伝わってきます。素晴らしくキャッチーなサビの部分は、つい口ずさんでしまいたくなります。

　At the first few bars, you’d be intrigued by the guitar sound without effect. The lyrics which are awkwardly straightforward are also good. it conveys directly the loneliness of a young guy who has started to live by himself in a big city. The chorus part is so catchy that I hum it to myself without knowing it.

　Sausy Dogのメンバー構成は、石原慎也さん（ボーカル/ギター）、秋澤和貴さん（ベース）、せとゆいかさん（ドラム/コーラス）となっています。この曲をきっかけに他の曲も聴いてみましたが、どの曲も素朴で、衒いのない、素敵な曲ばかりです。8月25日には、この曲を収録したミニアルバム「レイジーサンデー」がリリースされる予定です。

　This band called Saucy Dog consists of following members, Shinya Ishihara(vocal/guitar), Kazuki Akizawa(bass), and Yuika Seto(drums/chorus). After hearing this song, I was interested in their songs so I tried to listen to some of them and I found them favorably simple and unpretentious. They will release their new mini album called ‘Lazy Sunday’, which includes this song, on August 25^th.
