ダンスのキレに圧倒されます。テレビのバラエティーでよくお見かけするガンバレルーヤさんですが、コメディアンのイメージからかけ離れた、彼女らの本気のダンスが衝撃的です。ガンバレルーヤのお二人と、モデルで歌手の川口ゆりなさんとのコラボ曲「Cheeky Cheeky」のダンスMVの中毒性、ハンパないです。
You’ll be overwhelmed by their great skills of dance. I often see Ganbareruya, a female comedy duo, appear on TV variety shows, but this time they don’t look like comedians but real dancers. The dance music video for a song called ‘Cheeky Cheeky’ is so addictive, and this song is a collaboration between Ganbareruya and Yurina Kawaguchi, a model and singer.

そもそも曲がいいです。今どきの曲も大好きな自分ですが、ダンスミュージックにはあまり興味が持てません。それなのにこの曲にはなぜかワクワクします。
In the first place, the song is pretty good. I like songs in the current music scene but I’m not a big fan of dance music. However, I feel exhilarated at this dance music somehow.
それでも、この曲はやはり視覚的に楽しむ曲です。MVも素晴らしいのですが、ダンスの練習動画も公開されていて、むしろこちらの方にハマっています。細かい動きまで見てとれて、改めてガンバレルーヤのお二人のダンスの上手さに感心してしまいます。
Even so just listening to it is not enough, you should watch the dance music video. The official MV is really good, but they released the video of them practicing the dance and I’m rather into this version. I can watch every movement of them in the practice version so I’m impressed with the dance skills of each of the duo.

川口ゆりなさんというアーティストをこのMVで初めて知りました。本職だけあって、ダンスはもちろん、表情にまで余裕があり、魅了されます。このビデオ全編にわたって三人それぞれの魅力が発揮されていて、観るたびに発見があるので見飽きない仕上がりになっています。
I hadn’t had any knowledge about the artist called Yurina Kawaguchi until watching this music video. She is a professional dancer, so she dances appealingly in a relaxed manner, and I could tell that from not only her performance but also her expressions. I cannot get enough of this video because each of the three has their own attractiveness and I can find them every time I watch this.

インタビュー記事によるとガンバレルーヤのよしこさんは、もともと川口ゆりなさんのファンだった模様。川口さんが出演したオーディション番組のダンスを、よしこさんが踊ってSNSに投稿したところ、川口さんの方から、この企画のオファーがあったとのことです。今後の更なるプロジェクトに期待しています。
According to an interview article that I read, Yoshiko, one of the comedy duo, had been a big fan of Yurina Kawaguchi before this video. Yoshiko posted a video of herself performing a dance which was from a TV audition program Kawaguchi appeared on before, then Kawaguchi offered Yoshiko this project. I’m looking forward to another project by them.
