これからの季節に聴きたい曲：ヨルシカ「春泥棒」 A Song to Listen to in the Coming Season: ‘Haru Dorobo’ by Yorushika

　ヨルシカ、ずっと真夜中でいいのに。(ずとまよ)、YOASOBI、いわゆる“夜好性”と呼ばれるこの3組の中で、あんまり聴いてなかったのがヨルシカでした。理由は特にありません。でも、この曲は一度聴いただけで心惹かれて、すぐにプレイリストに入れてしまいました。

As for those three, Yorushika, Zutto Mayonaka de Iinoni (Zutomayo), and YOASOBI, some people playfully categorize them as “nocturnals”　and it was Yorushika that I somehow haven’t listened to intently among them. There is no particular reason. Even so, I add this song to my playlist immediately after listening to it for the first time.

　ボーカルのsuisさんの伸びやかな歌声に吸い込まれそうになります。歌の上手さでは、YOASOBIのikuraさんにも、ずとまよのACAねさんにも一切引けをとりません。その2人に比べると、よりエモーショナルに聞こえるのは気のせいでしょうか。ボカロPでもあるn-bunaさんとボーカルのsuisさんの2人からなるこのヨルシカの結成は2017年。“夜好性”の3組の中で、最も早いスタートを切っています。デュオであるという点でYOSOBIと共通性があり、顔やプロフィールを一切明かさないところは、ずとまよのACAねさんと同じです。

　The vocalist is a woman called suis and I’m almost carried away by her relaxed voice. She is as good singer as those two, ikura from YOASOBI and ACAne from Zutomayo. I wonder it is just my imagination that her voice sounds more emotional compared to them. The duo called Yorushika consists of the Vocaloid music producer called n-buna and the vocalit called suis, and it was formed in 2017. They are the earliest in debuting among the nocturnal three. Yorushika is a duo and so is YOASOBI. Yorushika don’t reveal their face and profile at all as ACAne from Zutomayo doesn’t do so.    

　ヨルシカの歌の歌詞にはストーリー性があり、楽曲同士がつながっているのが特徴です。つまり彼らのアルバムは一種のコンセプトアルバムと言えるかもしれません。ヨルシカが好きという人は、楽曲はもちろんですが、その世界観にも惹かれているのだと思います。ファンとは言えない自分は、この春泥棒とそれ以前の曲のつながりは知りません。そんなのは気にせずに楽しめる1曲です。

　Yorushika’s lyrics are part of a story so their every song is related to each other. I believe I can say their albums are a kind of concept album. Someone who likes Yorushika is fascinated not only by their songs but also the fictional world created by them. I’m not a big fan of them so I don’t know whether this song called Haru Dorobo has something to do with any former songs. Anyway, you can enjoy this song without caring about such a thing like that.
