I think there's one thing you should keep in mind when you buy a used imported car, and it is you should find a reliable shop. 自分がアウディS1 を購入したクエストオートモーティブは、そうした意味で理想のお店でした。国産の軽自動車から空冷のポルシェまで、たくさんの車を扱ってきた実績があります。今回は、このお店で買ってよかったと思っていることを紹介します。
The car shop called Quest Automotive at which I bought my S1 is an ideal one. They have handled many sort of cars from Japanese kei cars to air-cooled Porches. I'd like to tell you about the reason why I feel so lucky to have bought my S1 from this shop.
まずは、ドレスアップやアクセサリーについてです。お店からの提案で、引き渡し前にホイールやフロントグリルをピアノブラックにしてもらいましたが、もともと好みだったS1 のデザインがさらに引き締まりました。細かいところでは、スマホのホルダーや洗車用品まで、質のよい、しかもリーズナブルなものをお世話してもらっています。
First, they gave me a good suggestion about nice dress-up and useful accessories. They suggeested to paint the wheels and the front gril black, and I liked it because that added the cool vives to the originally favorable nice design of S1. They also offered me some other small things like a useful smartphone holder, cleaners and so on, which are quite qualy and reasonable.
ボディのコーティングも特筆に値します。基本的に水洗いして、時々スタンドの洗車機にかけるだけで綺麗な状態が保てています。カーポートもない自宅の駐車場に停めているのに、１年経っても新車のようにピカピカなのは不思議なくらいです。
They gave the S1 a great body coating. I can keep the car very beautiful with just washing with water, plus sometimes putting it through a car washing machine at a gas station. There is no carport at my place but the S1 is still so shiny like a new one somehow.
ありがたいのはコンピューターのコーディングまでしてもらえることです。引き渡し前に、デイライトやウインカーなど輸入車仕様のままでは不便だった設定を、最適な状態に変えてもらっています。近々、サイドミラーの開閉の設定変更もお願いするつもりです。
What's more about their sevice is coding. They changed the settings of daytime running lamps and blinkers, which were originally useless. so that they work best. I'm going to ask them to change the settings of the side mirrors sometime in the near future.
安全面はもちろん、快適性まできめ細かくケアしてくださるお店に出会えたのは本当にラッキーでした。せっかく気に入った車輌を、長く乗っていくために、カスタマイズが有用なのは間違いありません。現在は、ブレーキパッドやディスクを変えたくてお金を貯めているところです。
I am so lucky to find a nice shop which takes care of comfortableness, let alone safety. I like the S1 so much that I want to maintain it for a long time and that's why customizing matters for me. Now I want to change the brake pads and the discs, so I'm saving money.
