このアルバムは、古今東西のあらゆる音楽を可笑しみあふれる手法で取り入れています。この曲のイントロに使われているのは、リヒャルト・シュトラウスの交響詩「ツァラトゥストラはかく語りき」です。「2001年宇宙の旅」の冒頭で使用されたことで有名なこの曲を、「未確認中学生X」といういかにもSFチックなタイトルのイントロに使用するだけでもう笑顔になりますが、その後に歌い出される歌詞とのギャップに思わず声を出して笑ってしまいます。
This album took in various sorts of music in some humorous ways. ‘Thus Spoke Zarathustra’, a tone pem written by Richard Strauss, is used as the introduction of this song. The mere fact that they used this spectacular tone poem, which is so famous because it was also used at the beginning of the movie called ‘2001:A Space Odyssey’, as the introduction of this song “Unidentified Junior-high Student X ”, which sounds like an SF movie title, makes me smile, plus I burst out laughing due to the gap between this spectacular music and the comical lyrics they start to sing just after the introduction.

「未確認中学生」って言葉だけでもう可笑しみがあふれます。一体どんな中学生なんでしょう。何者であるか、または何者になるかまだわからないという意味のようにとれるし、自分自身がまだいろんなことを確認できていないという意味にもとれます。いずれにせよ、この曲の勢いの前にはどうでもいいことにちがいありません。十分に勢いのある「金八DANCE MUSIC」の後で、更に加速してくるからすごいです。
Even just the word ‘Mikakunin Chugakusei’ exhilarates me. I wonder what kind of junior high student it is. It reads in two ways and the first is that she doesn’t even know who she herself is or will be, and the other is that there are many things she still doesn’t know. Anyway, when I think of the great momentum of this song, it doesn’t matter which is true. Even after ‘Kinpachi Dance Music’, which also has enough momentum, this song gather strength all the more.
先日は、音楽サイトREAL SOUNDにおいて、エビ中の「星の数え方」が2019年のアイドル楽曲大賞の1位に選ばれていました。５thアルバム「MUSiC」に収録されているこの曲は、歌唱力を試されるような聴かせる曲です。今、「金八」を聴くことでエビ中の進化についてもあらためて実感しています。
The other day, Ebichu’s song ‘Hoshi no Kazoekata’ won first prize in idol song section by REAL SOUND, a music information website. This song is contained in their 5th album “MUSiC”, and it is a song that requires the singers’ skill. I’m realizing how skillful current Ebichu is through listening to ‘Kinpachi’ now.
