楽曲がどうだとかいう話ではありません。エビ中ファンでなければ、この曲はアイドルのアルバムにあり勝ちな曲、という印象しか残らないような気がします。
As far as this song is concerned, it doesn’t matter what sort of music the song is. I have a feeling that this song may sound like a sort of song which could be heard typically in idol’s album.

2019年は、エビ中にとって結成10周年の節目でした。そんなことも知らずに、たまたま5thアルバムにハマった自分は、エビ中の経歴などほとんど知らないままでした。ありがたいことに、9月に刊行された「HISTORY～幸せの貼り紙はいつもどこかに～」（ニュース通信社）を読むことで、エビ中というグループのこれまでの歩みと、これまでに起こったことを知ることができました。そして、エビ中がますます好きになりました。
The year 2019 was the 10th anniversary of Ebichu’s debut. Without knowing that fact, I happened to be into the 5th album of Ebichu but remained ignorant of their history. Fortunately, I read a book called “HISTORY-A patch of paper is always somewhere around”, published in September by News Tsushinsha, and I was able to know what they’ve done or what happened to them. I eventually came to love Ebichu even all the more.
この本を読んだ上でこの「HISTORY」を聴くと、やはり感慨を深くしてしまいます。作詞はメンバーが行っているからです。基本的に音楽を聴くときには、先入観にとらわれないよう、純粋に楽曲の良さだけで聴いてしまう方です。でも、こんなふうにアーティストに思い入れをもって聴くと、響きが違ってくる曲があってもいいと思います。
After reading this book, the song “HISTORY” sounds even more impressive. The lyrics were written by the members. I make a point of listening to music without holding any prejudice, just being aware of how good the song is. However, there could be some songs that sounds particularly good if I listen to it with a deep affection for the artists.
エビ中のこれからのHISTORYを見届けたくて、ついにファンクラブに入ってしまいました。春ツアーのチケットの抽選にも申し込んでいます。望んだ会場で、いい席が当たることを願っています。
I finally joined their fan club just because I wanted to keep on watching their HISTORY. I’ve applied for their spring tour ticket. I hope I’d be lucky enough to get a good seat in the venue I want to go.
