地元の人間同士でちゃんぽんの話になったとき、このお店を挙げる人は多いと思います。長崎市江戸町にある中華料理店、「永楽苑」です。繁華街からは少し離れているのですが、出島のすぐそば、カステラの文明堂総本店の裏手にあるお店です。
I have an impression that plenty of people mention this Chinese restaurant when they talk about delicious champon in Nagasaki. The restaurant is “Eirakuen” in Edomachi, Nagasaki city. It is located in the back alley of the Bunmeido main store, which is famous for castella, close to Dejima, a bit far from the shopping area though.
白濁してない、ほぼ透明なスープは、一口すすると見た目通りにあっさりしていますが、しっかりとした味付けです。麺は、ちゃんぽんとしては他のお店にくらべ、少し細く感じます。具材には、野菜と練り物がたっぷり使われています。食べるほどに旨味が増し、味わい深くて、スープまでつい飲み干してしまいます。
The soup is pretty clear, almost transparent, and you may find it has a light taste when you first take a sip of it, then I’m sure you will realize it is seasoned quite well after you try some more. The noodles are somewhat thin compared to other restaurants. Plenty of vegetables and steamed fish paste are used as ingredients. The more you eat it, the more you will feel the soup becomes tasty, so you may want to drain it to the last drop.
お値段がとてもリーズナブルな上に、プラス１５０円で大盛りにできるのも嬉しい限りです。このお店の人気メニューに「しいたけ肉そば」というのがあります。食べログなどでみると、むしろそれで有名なお店になっているようです。

The price of the champon is so reasonable and besides you can order a large portion of it for an extra one hundred and fifty yen. There is another popular meal called “Shiitake Niku Soba (Noodles with Mushroom and Pork in soup)”in this restaurant. This restaurant is rather famous for this meal judging from the review which can be seen in some gourmet food information sites on the internet.
