今クール、毎週楽しみにしているドラマがあります。TBSで金曜夜10時放送のドラマ「＃家族募集します」です。
There is a drama among the current ones I look forward to watching every week. That is a drama called ‘#Kazoku Boshu Shimasu’ which broadcasts on TBS at 10 p.m. every Friday.

「主人公の赤城俊平（重岡大毅）は、ある事情で3か月前にシングルファーザーになったばかり。5歳の息子・陽（佐藤遥灯）を育てながら、児童図書を扱う小さな出版社「エッグプラント」に勤め、育児と仕事に追われる日々を過ごしていた。そんな中、幼馴染の小山内蒼介（仲野太賀）と偶然再会。ワンオペ育児に悩む俊平の事情を知った蒼介は、SNSで家族を募集し、子育てをシェアして一緒に暮らそうと突飛な提案をする。そんな募集に誰も乗るわけがないと呆れる俊平だったが、その夜、蒼介の携帯に1本の電話が…。」
“Shunpei Akagi (Daiki Shigeoka), the main character, has just become a single parent three months ago. Raising his five-year-old son, Haru, he works for a publishing company called ‘EggPlant’ so he leads hectic days. In the meantime, he meets a childhood friend called Sosuke Osanai (Taiga Nakano) by chance one day. Learning Shumpei’s difficult situation as a single parent, Sosuke propose a wild project to recruit some other families on SNS in order to live together sharing childcare. Shunpei is quite skeptical of the idea, but he got a phone call on his mobile phone that night…….”

仲野太賀さん演じる小山内の思い付きは、全く絵空事のように思えますが、紆余曲折があって、結局は3家族がともに暮らすようになります。その過程の描き方がとても丁寧で、無理と感じる展開がないため次第に惹き込まれていきました。ドラマがフィクションである限り、本来あり得ないことを、あり得ることとして描けるかどうかは、成否を決める重要なカギだと思います。その点で、このドラマは成功しているように思います。
The idea of Osanai, who is played by Taiga Nakano, sounds like a fantasy but, in the end, three families begin to live together after many twists and turns. The process is described well and there is nothing irrational about it so I was naturally into it. Drama is fictitious in the first place, so it is important that they should describe something impossible as if it could really happen to make the drama successful. On that point, they have actually done it successfully.
設定だけを見ると、お気楽な家族ごっこに終わりかねないように思えるこのドラマがそうならないのは、集まった家族、それぞれの抱える深刻さをきちんと扱えているからです。重岡大毅さん演じる赤城の妻は、仕事の為に海外に出て、そこで事故のために亡くなっているのでした。赤城はその事実を、一人息子の陽（はる）に伝えきれずにいます。木村文乃さん演じる桃田母娘、岸井ゆきのさん演じる横瀬母子にもそれぞれ事情があります。
With just the setting, it might seem like this drama could end up depicting make-believe family affairs, but the reason why it doesn’t is that it convincingly handles each family’s serious situation. The wife of Akagi, who is played by Daiki Shigeoka, has passed away due to an accident while she was on a business trip abroad. Akagi is not able to tell the truth to his only son named Haru. Other families, like Momota, played by Fumino Kimura, and her daughter, Yokose, played by Yukino Kishii, and her son, also have their own situations.
それぞれの俳優さんのよさが十分に引き出されているのもこのドラマの好いところです。残りは4話か5話か分かりませんが、これからどう展開していくのかとても楽しみです。
Another charm of this drama is that each actor shows their best in it. I’m not sure about the number of episodes left, but I’m very looking forward to seeing how the story goes.
