忙しくリズムを刻むキーボードの音が気持ちいいイントロです。まさに今どきの音なんでしょうが、コーラスワークやホーンの使い方に勝手に70年代のソウルを感じています。
The introduction with the rhythm beaten by the keyboard makes me feel good. This song must be a typically contemporary piece of music, but I somehow feel the flavor of soul music in the 70’s due to the way of using the chorus work and the horn section.

大好きだったコンピレーションシリーズ「フリーソウル」にいかにも入ってそうな曲に聞こえます。CDに付属のブックレットには「written by WTM, Shingo」と書いてあります。WTMって誰なのか調べてみましたが残念ながらわかりませんでした。音楽情報サイト、「REAL SOUND」の記事では、森善太郎さんという方がサウンドプロデュースを手掛けていると書いているので、この方だと思います。
It wouldn’t seem to be strange if this song is contained in the albums of my favorite compilation series called “Free Soul”. The booklet attached to the CD says, “written by WTM, Shingo”. I tried to check “WTM” out on the internet, but I couldn’t get any information about it.I found an article by "REAL SOUND", a music information website, saying Zentaro Mori composed this song, so I guess WTM is he.
このアルバムにはDVDが付いていて、2曲のMVが収録されています。1曲目がこの「Trap」でもう1曲は「FUTURE WORLD」です。この曲で踊る慎吾さん、やっぱりめちゃくちゃカッコいいです。4人のダンサーと慎吾さん合わせて5人で踊っていますが、せっかくならあの5人でやってほしいとつい思ってしまいます。
The DVD attached to this album contains two MV. The first one is “Trap” and the second is “FUTURE WORLD”. Shingo, dancing in the MV to “Trap”, is extremely cool. There are five dancers including Shingo, and I can’t help wanting to watch the familiar five guys dancing.
