まさに食わず嫌いでした。初めて聞いたあいみょんさんの曲は「生きていたんだよな」で，あまりにもシリアスな歌詞に恐れをなして，受け止める勇気がなく，敬遠してしまっていました。ＮＨＫのＳＯＮＧＳで吉澤嘉代子さんとともに取り上げられていた時にも，まだ，魅力を分からずにいました。

あ，いいかも，と思ったのは，今クールのドラマ，「獣になれない私たち」のエンディング・テーマ「今夜このまま」を聴いたときでした。初めは興味ないふりをしていましたが，自然と心の中に流れたりして，好きかもと思い始めました。ネットでいろいろチェックしてみると，「愛を伝えたいだとか」という曲は，椎名林檎さんの「丸の内サディスティック」と同じコード進行で書かれた曲だと知り，ダウンロードして聴きました。もう，一発でハマりました。いても立ってもいられないくらい名曲と思いました。
It was when I heard a song titled “Kon-ya Konomama”, which is the ending theme of the drama “Kemono ni Narenai Watashitachi” broadcast in this season, that I felt her song might be good. At first, I pretended not to be interested in it, but found it haunting so I began to feel it is probably good. I checked her out on the internet to find a song titled “Ai ga Suki datoka” was written in the same chord progression as “Marunouchi Sadistic” by Shiina Ringo so I downloaded it. I was into it in a blink. I felt the song was so great that I was unable to contain my joy.

先日のＭステでの「今夜このまま」は決定的でした。もうすっかりファンです。「生きていたんだよな」にも向き合ってみました。やっぱり，自分にとっては重いけれど，でも，とってもいい曲でした。
The song “Kon-ya Konomama” she sang in Msusic Station, the TV program, was the decisive one for me. Now I’m already a fan of hers. I listened to the song “Ikite Itandayona” properly. I felt it’s too serious for me again, but I found it really good.
