TVドラマ「義母と娘のブルース」が終了しました。みゆきを育てたのは自分のエゴのためだと言い放ち，全ての心情を吐露した亜希子に対し，みゆきが言った「お母さん，世間ではそれを愛というんだよ」の一言に恥ずかしいくらい泣きました。
The TV drama “Stepmother and daughter's blues” came to an end. I cried embarrassingly when I heard the remarks Miyuki said “Mom, they call it love.” which was said to Akiko who revealed her all feelings toward Miyuki after saying it was her ego that drove her to raise Miyuki.

ドラマの終了を待って，勝手に我慢していた原作漫画を解禁し，容赦なく一気読みしました。四コマ漫画という仕立てにちょっぴり感じていた不安は全くの杞憂でした。クスクス笑って，やっぱり最後は涙がにじみました。ドラマはわりと原作に忠実に作られていたのだと感心しましたが，終わり方はずいぶん違いました。漫画では亜希子が亡くなる日まで描き切っています。ドラマも原作も楽しめて喜んでいます。
I had restrained myself from reading the original manga until the drama ended, then I read it at a stretch without hesitation. The worry I felt a bit due to the fact that the manga was a four-frame comic ended up being a groundless fear. I chuckled all the way through and eventually tears rose to my eyes. I was impressed that the drama was almost true to the manga, but the ending was quite different. In manga, it describes Akiko’s life till the very last day of it. I was really glad because I enjoyed both the drama and the original manga.
