このタイトルの味わい深さはどうでしょう。昼ドラ的な響きを一瞬感じながらも、何故かワクワクしてしまいます。NETFLIXのドラマ「愛の不時着」を視聴しました。やっぱり騒がれるだけのことはあります。めちゃくちゃ面白かったです。韓国ドラマ、というだけで敬遠しがちな方もいると思います。でも、このドラマはそんなカテゴリーに収まるものではありません。
How meaningful the title of this drama is! That sounds a bit melodramatic but somehow I can’t help feeling excited. I watched the NETFLIX drama called ‘Crash Landing on You’. I felt that it deserves its popularity. It was so enjoyable. I guess some people tend to be reluctant to watch this drama just because it is a Korean drama. However, you can’t categorize this drama so easily.

令嬢の名はユン・セリ、将校の名はリ・ジョンヒョクです。セリを何とか韓国へ無事に帰還させようとするジョンヒョクですが、叶うべくもない恋と知りながら、2人は心を通わせてしまいます。こう書くと、従来の韓国ドラマにありがちな、深刻ぶった悲恋の物語に聞こえます。しかし、このドラマは、明るさを基調としていて、ユーモアに溢れています。セリとジョンヒョクのやりとり自体、可笑しみがあって笑顔になります。そして、2人を取り巻く人々のキャラ立ちが本当に素晴らしく、しばしば吹き出しながら、たまらなく彼らが愛おしくなりました。また、韓国ドラマのベタな設定を揶揄するような場面が、随所にあるのも面白く感じました。
The lady’s name is Yoon Se-ri and the captain’s name is Ri Jeong-hyeok. Jeong-hyeok tries to get her back to South Korea safely but they end up falling in love despite knowing they shouldn’t. That explanation may make you guess that this drama should be a typical Korean drama, which tend to be a serious, heart breaking story. However, this drama has an undercurrent of cheerfulness and humor. The conversation between Se-ri and Jeong-hyeok is quite humorous and makes me smile, plus the characters of the people around them are so exhilarating that I often burst out laughing and ended up feeling deep affection toward them. Moreover, there are a lot of scenes where they make fun of some typical settings which tend to be seen in Korean dramas, so I was impressed, too.
でも、このドラマのそんな明るさこそが、朝鮮半島の現実の厳しさを際立たせます。同じ民族でありながら、互いの行き来が生死にかかわるという隣国の現状を思い知り、涙が出ました。そこにいたる経緯に全く無関係とは言えない立場に、日本人はいるはずです。
As a matter of fact, such cheerful atmosphere highlights the harsh reality in the Korean peninsula. Despite the fact that they are of the same race, it’s fatal to pass across the border, and when I came to think of it, tears rolled down my cheeks. We Japanese cannot say that we have nothing to do with their history.
このドラマの結末は本当に意外です。脚本の上手さに唸りました。絶対にネタバレ禁止です。まだ観ていない方はぜひ。
The ending of this drama is really unpredictable. I was impressed by the script. It will surely spoil your fun to talk about it. I recommend you to watch this drama if you haven’t yet.
